Overlea staff prepares and delivers over 25,000 meals per week to more than 175 sites for the elderly throughout the state of Maryland. Our trucks deliver without interruption 7 days a week, 365 days a year, even under severe weather conditions.

Our chef, Greg Petza, who is a graduate of the New England Culinary Institute and has over 15 years of experience in food service operations and management and his team in the kitchen.

Our customer service manager, Betty Ferguson, who has been with Overlea for 29 years

Our registered dietitian, Judith Knapp, who has years of experience in geriatric nutrition.

 

Overlea's 13,000-square foot facility contains all of the equipment needed for efficient and safe preparation of hot and cold breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals, as well as an array of pureed, boxed, canned, frozen, shelf-stable, and specialty meals. We require all of our senior food service management to complete the ServSafe program, the industry standard for sanitation and food handling.
